Pen and Ink

The Pen and Ink technique is shown both below and to the right. It is a wonderful, non-fired technique that uses a special ink brought in from the UK, and special artist oils with the linseed oil removed so that they become a superior translucent. With the proper sray these pieces can withstand hand washing and are fairly permanent. Ink, colors, media, spray, and patterns are al available.

The vase above is one of our most popular patterns. It is called Hybrid Iris Cluster and is on a moon vase cast in Misty Green porcelain. The moon vase is perfect for pen and ink because of the flat surface on the front. It is easy to work on even for beginners.
